12 Bars of Heat Challenge official rules

The official rules are being finalized and will be posted here before registration opens.

Your song joins the line only after your payment goes through.
Skip and Super Skip spots are held for 5 minutes during checkout. If your payment comes in after the hold ends and the spot is taken, your song stays in the Standard line and the difference is refunded automatically to your card.
Standard songs that don't get played during the show move to the next Tuesday, at the front of the line.
Skip and Super Skip change when your song is played. They don't affect judging.
The hosts can remove songs with hateful content or that aren't music. Removed songs are refunded.

A review clip is the part of the show where the hosts play and review your song, as a widescreen video and a vertical video for Reels and TikTok. You can post them anywhere; tag @texasstreetheat so we can share it.
Add it for $5 when you submit, or get it for $10 after your song is reviewed. Clips are only offered on shows where they're on sale.
Clips are cut after the show ends. We email you when yours is ready to download from your dashboard.
If your song is rolled over to the next show, your clip comes from the show where it's played. If your song is removed, or we can't make your clip, the clip is refunded.
