How it works

  1. Register and pay. You need to live in Texas or Oklahoma.
  2. Download the official beat from your dashboard and record 12 bars over it. Audio or video both work.
  3. Upload your 12 bars before the deadline. You can replace them until then.
  4. Watch the live selection show. Judges score each entry and the audience votes; the top 8 get picked.
  5. Selected artists record the cypher and music video at Da Booth Studios. Travel to Grand Prairie is at your own expense, and the date is announced on the selection show.

After the cypher drops

Once the official cypher video is out, fans vote for 7 days on the cypher MVP. The MVP wins $250 cash, four hours of studio time at Da Booth Studios, and a professional photo shoot with five edited photos.

Entry is subject to the official rules.
